Mission Statement The mission of the James P. Johnson Foundation For Music and The Arts is to preserve and promote the musical legacy of James P. Johnson through its archive and educational programs. We have begun this process by selecting an internationally known repository to preserve and safeguard his archive collection. Our next endeavor is to reacquaint the American public with his musical legacy by presenting his music in open public forums. |
