Organizational
Plan - Goals
& Objectives
2004: The
'Make It Happen' program will feature our 'Youth Jazz Band', which
will perform in at least 3 events through out our community. The
Johnson Archive Collection will soon be on display at various institutions
across the country. By the end of the year, we will be expanding
all programs to incorporate more opportunities to serve underprivileged
children by: Holding various clinics to develop social skills as
well as artistic abilities; adoption or creation of after school
programs to help tutor under achieving students at all levels; and
a recreation program to reward the hard work that is expected out
of our students.
For the next
three years, our focus will be to gain market recognition and
to bring world-wide appeal to the organization, while focusing on
our Mission and the children we
serve.
By 2005, we
will have inclusion in every level of education, from kindergarten
through college, and into the professional ranks of the entertainment
industry.
Five-year
goals:
To incorporate
our programs within all low-income southern Californian schools,
and focus on national and international networking. And,
To focus on
growing as an organization, to become the bridge between the arts
and education.
Marketing
Strategy
The JPJ Foundation
gains support through the generous contributions of our Sponsorship
and Membership programs, via federally and locally funded grants,
through partnerships with various other organizations, and through
the marketing of various products featured in our Catalogue.
We are also licensing Johnson pieces such as "Yamekraw:
a Negro Rhapsody", and "De
Organizer" and others to be performed across the country.
Our Sponsor
Opportunities are designed to fit all budgetary aspects, from
a Low-cost Membership to Annual
Corporate Sponsorships.
We are
seeking assistance (via financial and/or time dedications)
for these, and all programs within
the JPJF. Please Contact Us to discuss
your thoughts on how we can better
Support the Arts in
Education!
